EXPERIENCING GOD'S GRACE
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9. (NIV)
God's Grace is one of the most profound, and unmerited favor and gifts we receive from God, gifts we could never earn or deserve. When we think about grace, we often focus on salvation, but God's grace extends far beyond that. It permeates every aspect of our lives, offering us strength, peace, and joy even in the midst of trials.
Consider the waves crashing against the rocks on a stormy beach, no matter how fierce the storm, the rocks remain steadfast. Similarly, God's grace sustains us through life's storms. His Spirit within us provides the strength to endure and emerge triumphant, no matter the challenges we are facing.
1. How to recognize God's Grace in your daily life?
Start by acknowledging the small graces in your daily life, and God will continue increasing his grace upon your life. It could be a kind word from a friend, a beautiful sunset, a moment of peace in a busy day, or an unexpected act of kindness from someone. All these are expressions of God's grace.
When you face challenges, remember that you are not alone. God's grace is sufficient for you. His power is made perfect, even in your weakness and imperfection. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Just as you have received grace, extend it to others. Be kind, forgiving, and compassionate. Let your life be a reflection of the unmerited grace and favor you have received from God.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. Help me to recognize and appreciate the many ways You bless my life each day. Give me the strength to endure life's challenges, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for me. May I extend your grace to others, reflecting your love and kindness in all I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
These are 5 verses that reminds us of the Grace of God upon our lives:
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV)
2- 2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (NIV)
3- Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV)
4- Romans 5:1-2
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. (NIV)
5- Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
