Why get involved?
The fight against division, deception, worldly distractions, and other challenges facing communities and the Body of Christ is urgent and necessary.
A lot is at stake within the Body of Christ, and the wickedness of those who are supposed to help weak believers and lead God-seekers to Jesus is worsening. The deceptive superficial Christian practices of making people believe that they can bribe God for healing, blessings, or salvation has been normalized, and the biblical principle of discipleship has been distorted into a form of modern slavery.
In the name of discipleship, many people have been enslaved, isolated, and subjected to sexual, mental, and even physical abuse by fake yet respected pastors worldwide. Watch the BBC Documentary "DISCIPLES" (EP 1, EP 2, and EP 3.)
Jesus' love and compassionate service
At the heart of Jesus' teaching lies the profound call to love and serve others. This call is not merely an abstract ideal but a concrete, actionable directive that can transform lives and communities. Meaningful giving and compassionate service are not just acts of charity; they are embodiments of our faith, reflecting the love and grace that Jesus Christ showed us.
Peter 4:10-11 reminds us of the importance of using our gifts to serve others:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
Stronger together
Join SGTJ in promoting Christian unity, unwavering faith, Jesus’ love and compassionate services, and sustainable livelihoods for all. Our core mission is to help believers balance life’s challenges with unwavering faith and empower those in need today to become helpers tomorrow.
Our programs are designed to foster collaboration, community involvement, and social responsibility in ways that advance the Gospel, encourage spiritual growth, and promote sustainable livelihoods. We believe in tackling community challenges sustainably, through local people with intimate knowledge of their communities and the issues they face.
United as a supportive community, we can overcome life's challenges, build sustainable livelihoods, and grow stronger together in a godly way.
