Pause and Reflect on This Important Question in 2025: "Who is Jesus to You?"
This season of new beginnings is also a profound opportunity for introspection and spiritual renewal. We encourage you to pause and reflect on a vital question: Who is Jesus to you?
As we welcome the New Year, we are often filled with hope, dreams, and aspirations for what lies ahead. This season of new beginnings is also a profound opportunity for introspection and spiritual renewal. Amidst the celebrations and resolutions, I encourage you to pause and reflect on a vital question: Who is Jesus to you?
Stand Against Division
In a world that constantly tries to divide us, let us remember that our faith transcends all earthly distinctions. Whether it’s church domination, tribal, political, or racial Christianity, we must stand united as followers of Christ. Our loyalty should always be to Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He calls us to love one another and to break down the walls that separate us (Ephesians 2:14).
Focus on God and Jesus Christ
No matter how much we love our church, our pastor, or Christian events, none of these can replace our personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Jesus has already paid the price for our freedom (1 Corinthians 6:20). He is the central figure of our faith, and it is through Him that we find true salvation (Acts 4:12). This New Year, let us recommit ourselves to deepening our relationship with Him.
Rejecting Spiritual Consumerism
In a world that often treats faith as a transactional commodity, it’s crucial to resist deception, knowing that we cannot bribe God for blessings, healing, or salvation. True faith is about aligning our lives with God's will and conforming ourselves to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). Let us focus on living out His teachings, reflecting His love, grace, and truth (James 1:22).
Love, Unity, and Compassionate Service
Jesus commanded us to love one another (John 13:34-35). As we enter this New Year, let us prioritize love, unity, and compassionate service within our Christian community. Engage in acts of kindness and reach out to those in need (Galatians 6:10) and be a good Samaritan. By doing so, we not only honor God but also strengthen the bonds of fellowship among believers (Ephesians 4:3).
Reflect and Respond
As we embark on this New Year, take a moment to ponder: Who is Jesus to you? Is He your Savior, your guide, your friend? How does your relationship with Him shape your daily life and actions? Let this reflection guide your resolutions and actions for the year ahead.
An Invitation to Seek Jesus
For those who may not yet know Jesus personally, we extend a heartfelt invitation to discover the transformative power of Jesus' love. Jesus Christ is not just a historical figure or a religious symbol; He is the living Son of God who offers hope, redemption, and a relationship with God, our Creator (John 3:16).
