GOD, WHAT IS MY MISSION ON EARTH?

Today's Scripture

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10.

Every believer at some point asks, "God, what is my mission on earth?" This question stems from a deep desire to live a life of purpose and meaning. The Bible tells us that we are created for good works, which God has prepared for us. Understanding our mission involves recognizing that we are uniquely designed by God to fulfill His purposes.

1- Know Your Identity in Christ

Your mission begins with understanding who you are in Christ. You are God's handiwork, created with intention and purpose.

2- Invite Holy Spirit

Engaging in praise and worship before prayers through songs, hymns, or even silent adoration can create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit feels welcome. You can also invite Holy Spirit to come into your life through prayer like: “Holy Spirit, I invite you into my heart, fill me with your presence and help me recognize when God is speaking to me.” John 14:26.

3- Seek God's Guidance

Continually seek God's direction through prayer and scriptures reading. Ask God to guide your steps and provide clarity in your decisions. He will reveal His specific plans for you as you walk closely with Him.

4- Quite time with God

Spend time in quiet reflection, focusing on the presence of the Holy Spirit, this can help you become more aware of what God is communicating with you through Holy Spirit.

5- Serve Others

Jesus exemplified a life of service. Our mission often involves serving others, whether through acts of kindness, sharing the gospel, or using our talents to bless others. Reflect on your unique gifts and know-how and how can you use them to serve others, and fulfill God's mission for your life. Write down one practical step you can take in a short time and take that action to live out your mission.

6- Live Out Your Faith

Your daily life is a testimony of God's love and grace. Live in a way that reflects Christ's character and draws others to Him.

Today's Prayer
Dear Lord, I seek to understand the mission You have for me on this earth. Help me to recognize my identity in You and to live out my faith boldly. Guide me in serving others and using my gifts for Your glory. Reveal Your plans for me and give me the courage to follow them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
